If you look at the global companies and there Owners. The largest Tele-communications company is Bell. They own a multitude of Tele-communication companies and are actually in all of North and South America, over 60% of Asia, not to mention all of Europe and Australia. Making them by far the largest of their kind.
The only reason ACN may boast such a thing is if they go by the fact that Bell has multiple subsidiaries in each country to make them moer appealing to their target market. (ie Bell Canada and Bell South)

My best friend tried to convince me to join. It sounds like a great opportunity but I am wondering if it really does work? Of course my friend will say it works to try to convince me to join. I want hear the pros and the cons about this company.

My friend recently came to me about a job offer from ACN and that I had to pay 500$ to get a license for it and I would be making really good money and blah blah blah and had a recruiter talk to me about a guy that got really successful off of it etc. Has anyone ever worked for this company before? Ok my problem is i need to bring in a ABN (Australian Business Number) and verify if its true. In order to do this i need to split it up into separate numbers

For example the user may enter an ABN like : 001 242 360

Now i need to split that up so that num1 = the first digit and so on, if that makes sense. I need to conducted some fairly complicated maths on it so i need to turn it from a string of numbers to individual ones.

Can someone get me started? Im having trouble working out how.

I know that they all do different things. But the majority of these companies pretty much follow the same concept in business. A friend of mine is trying to get me to go to a meeting of his company but it sounds similar to World Financial Group, ACN, and Primerica. The way he approached me was the same way all the others did by asking question like "Where do you see yourself 20 years from now?" etc. I asked him if it was either and he said "No". I personally think that investing in any one of those stocks would be a better bet because these companies have a long history of paying great dividends.

I think that investing in Philip Morris (PM) or Sysco (SYY) would definitely be a better bet than investing in a CD. Do you agree with that? If not, then why?
