A recent trip to the library revealed that at–*least*…!–13 books on vampires and werewolves from "The Little Women" to Leo Tolstoy; classic books that have been treated to a "supernatural" twist on the various themes which you and I grew up reading on as kids and teens.

I just stood there and went, "WTF?!?..!!!"

I thought Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was bad enough…but from what I saw…?

I started to weep a little inside because of what’s being done to my childhood memories.

This is getting to be too much!

The genre’s getting killed over so many vampire books flooding the market–with some of them not making a lick of sense; sounding like a dark crossing between Angel and True Blood on some of the themes and a poor man’s excuse for another Twilight clone.

My wife recently read "Shadow Kiss" and even though she likes the book, I was just appalled by what the author was able to get away with and I was completely turned off–seeing how it’s just another "boy-toy"-vampire cliched novel: Girl loves guy, wants to become a vampire herself and yadda, yadda, yadda.

Insert love triangle, mortal danger, and cheesy HEA endings that make people like me want to ralph.

Where’s the imagination and the creativity in these books? Whatever happened to sticking to the lore and genre and try to maintain some semblance of originality? (Not to mention DIGNITY?)

Why the weak characters? The impossible romances? The milk-curdling plots that make absolutely no sense whatsoever?

Where’s the solid story-telling and the great character lines? Whatever happened to just "writing" a book and not worry about what the other guy has out on the shelves?

You know, it makes me almost hesitant to finish a vampire book I started 10 years ago.

I say *almost* hesitant here. I plan on finishing it and the others on my list, but I don’t want a book that is just like everybody else’s.

I’m horrified and mortified by what’s on the shelves. Very few books I’m running into makes any lick of sense and it’s becoming harder to try to find something close to home.

Y’know?

When I started it out with my first vampire book (as I write mostly science-fiction/fantasy), all I wanted was a simple half-human/vampire romance between a hunter and her human companion.

A journey of discovery and redemption. Nothing special. Nothing crazy. No "turning" the guy in the end, no trying to force a romance out of the ether, but just let things happen as naturally as possible.

And while the first draft didn’t end in an HEA (I hate those!), but tragedy for the main character–as she had to lose everyone she knew; including the guy she was with.

The second draft was altered a bit, a little more in depth with the characters, but it hasn’t contained anything abnormal or deviant–with the minor exception that the main character craves chocolate and sex. (I thought that would be a nice–normal–twist; focusing on the human aspect of the character rather than what she is: Half-vampire.

I already know what she is. Why make her out to be more than the sum of all her parts?)

But outside of that…? There’s no secret–or earthly–power to be had, no secret coven of vampires or werewolves dueling it out for power or control over the Earth, or some other whacka-doo story plot element that is totally–freakishly–*alien* to the lore/genre itself.

Nothing that trashes the supernatural genre that makes it look both silly and utterly tasteless–y’know?

I’m not doing this to be different or in "defiance" of what’s already out there, but I just don’t see how all these variant books out already is going to make people like the genre any better–than what I grew up on reading as a kid.

It’s my belief that is trend is backfire and *badly* at some point–where someone is going to cross a line that shouldn’t be crossed and people are going to go, "Okay…whoa! That’s enough! Stop!"

Bram Stoker’s "Dracula" is a timeless classic because it embodied so much of what we didn’t *know* about vampires, but kept true to the idea of the dark and forbidden elements which made the author’s characters likable, memorable, and loved.

But I think the mainstream is pushing things too far in order to get out the next "best-seller" in the supernatural lore–by putting out soap-opera styled, media-circus, trash-tabloids that isn’t supposed to even…*exist* in the first place.

Certainly not in a publishing industry that was built on…well, *TRADITION*.

I’m a 19 year old male from Cleveland, OH, USA. Doubt that will matter, but I’m trying to give insight in to my life for the best answer possible. My highest grade completed is 8th grade. I was in 9th grade three times. I failed the first two times because I never attended school and finally dropped out the third year because I did not want to complete high school at the age of 20. I have my GED (General Education Development). I want to get enrolled in college asap.

So, my biggest passion in life is, simply put, The Universe. I would love to become an Astronomer or an Astrophysicist. The biggest problem with this is that I don’t meet any prerequisites for taking a course in Physics which is where I would like to start. Like I said, I dropped out in 9th grade; so I never got to take any advanced classes in Math or Science. Throughout my entire school years I excelled in Math and Science. I have to think for seconds at a time when asked simple addition problems, etc. I feel it would take a long time to get back where I was when I was younger. I’ve smoked a lot of marijuana, partly a reason I never attended school, but I also believe it has destroyed my memory, which is why I think it will take me a long time to get back to where I was. I want to do something very hands on and pertaining to the Universe. I want to make amazing discoveries and breakthroughs. I want my name in history as a great scientist. I will not leave this world behind just to be forgotten shortly after.

What course should I start with to lead me on the path of becoming an Astronomer or an Astrophysicist? Will I even be able to accomplish this despite my lack of schooling? Since I really want to do something hands on, is Astronomy/Astrophysics the right area to be looking? I’ve read that "employment in the field is quite varied, with most astronomers working in the academic community," on Astronomy. If I do go through with either of those options, what courses should I start off with? Remember, I don’t meet any prerequisites for taking Physics. What basic courses should I take to be able to take Physics, if Physics is my best bet.

The other thing I’m looking at is anything in the computer field. IT, Graphic Design, Web Development, Programming, etc. The reason this is my second choice is becausing computers are my second passion. I’m extremely quick with them and learn new things with them even quicker. I have an interview tomorrow to do graphic design for a guy (we’ll call him Bob). Supposedly none of his employees started off at less than /hr, he offers housing with no rent and each employee receives their own laptop. Sounds entirely too good to be true. I’ve been doing graphic design (or at least toying with it) since I was about 12 when I received my first pirated version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Bob needs someone to do coupon magazines for him. I’ve never made anything that’s actually been printed or anything. I’ve made basic websites for me, friends and I did one real job for someone on GetAFreelancer.com which was a web template. Everyone I know says I’m talented with graphic design, but I don’t think so. I don’t think I have the creativeness that’s necessary for any kind of art. So, what Bob is explaining to me sounds simple enough and it sounds like I would be working with a team of graphic designers to do the whole magazine layout and everything. I’m worried because I really don’t know what this is like and I heard before I talked to him that he offered training which really had me interested in the job, but now it seems as if he’s expecting me to already be well rounded with this exact graphic work. This job interview is scaring me further away from going to college to become a graphic designer. I would really rather not end up doing Programming. I know it pays well which had me interested at a young age, but now it seems entirely too tedious for nothing except money. So IT is my next choice, but I’m terrible with hardware and don’t see myself doing that.

I want my name in history and I want a better understanding of where I came from, how and why, but a career in the Science field looks grim because I simply don’t think I’m smart enough or have enough education. That leaves me with something in the computer field which is good money and a very demanding line of work which is easy to get in to college for. Please do not give me a 50 word response on this. Over a year ago, I discovered that my spouse of almost 19 yrs had been involved in a 2+ yr- extramarrital affair. Lots of lies and lots of hurt after the discovery. I have since gone to counseling and he half heartedly came to a couple of sessions to save face. By this point, He has already expressed in exacting details that he would not remarry me EVER under any circumstances. In the course of this revelation, not only does he work with the Other Woman, he continues to have extenuous phone calls, only God knows whatelse, and texts with her;even into this year: pushing 3yrs. In the course of the time, I develop health issues that complicate my exit and also meet and develop deep serious feelings for another man and those feelings are mutual. Our relationship at this time is quite long distance, but he does get the U.S. often for business. He has been sincere and a true gentleman. Also has no expectations of physical intimacy until I have made peace with my spouse. Just business, serious conversations, and fun times. Upon this discovery, the current jerk of a husband decides on being galiant and refuses to allow me to leave the relationship; sighting that "no other man can take care of you like I can." I know that it was unfortunate that this meeting with this other man who has been nothing but honorable and caring regarding everything; including my spouse. Of course, I have gotten lots of sage advice on both sides of the fence. For all these years of marriage, I have done nothing but love unconditionally up til now after so many slaps to the face. The other day i noticed when i went to use the restroom and went to wipe , i had that pain almost like i had a cut in my vagina. Well the day i decided to get a mirror and look at what was hurting me. To my discovery i noticed that i had a blister, a blister that looks like a canker sore in my vagina.
I know that i don’t have herpes , because one, i haven’t been sexually active for 7 years and i have been checked and i’m all clear.
Now is it possible to get a cranker sore/ ulcer in your vaginal area? i have been not getting alot of sleep and last week i did use my toy and i did feel like i ripped some tissue or something.

I bought a used Roboraptor online (You know, the discovery channel store robot-dinosaur thing that costs like 0!) The posting specifically said it didn’t come with an instruction manual. I assumed this would be no big deal because you can find "anything" online these days right?

WRONG! I’ve been searching for a week and cannot find a single link that works! I would like to have a golden tower with golden stare way circling around it. On the side of my home there are doors and balconies that lead into different rooms.

The Gardens
On top of my mansion there are seven dragons like gargoyles, all evenly spaced, encircling the rims of my tower/mansion home. Each dragon will be spilling out a delicious liquid river that leads to a garden that is maintained by angels. Each pair of dragon eyes is a different color Jewel, according to the rainbow.

Red Dragon- It would be spilling out a river of sweet red wine (and you’ll never get drunk off of it). It will flow into a lush garden full of exotic fruits. The garden will appear more like a well kept jungle with amazing wild life and colors. Every day in that garden will be like a party. Angels, humans, and other living things will be there together having ceaseless entertainment and joy, all giving praise to God. Angels that take care of this place will be living in colorfully panted huts.

Orange Dragon- It would be spilling out a river of rich honey. It will lead into a garden full of flowers. There their will be trillions of colorful butterflies, colors that don’t even excise in this world, no two will be the same. This garden will be known for the sweet smells the flowers give off and the beauty of the blend of colors. Rainbows can’t keep away from this place. There will be angels in diamond huts taking care of this place.

Yellow Dragon- It would be spilling out delicious oil. It will lead into a garden full of vegetable vegetation. There will be beautiful fountains that are hand carved and flawless. Hear angels collect wheat to make bread & golden windmills will be here too. There will be hilly slops for people to play on & valleys were hidden plunder is. Angels that live here will live in beautiful pearls.

Green Dragon- It will be spilling out hot tea. It will flow into a peaceful garden full of herbs and relaxing smells. This garden will be good place to get away from the activity of heaven & just relax and meditate on God without distraction. Here will be hot springs and soothing springs that give off steam to refresh your body. The care taking angels will live in flawless cut wooden homes that give off peaceful & sacred appearance.

Blue Dragon- It will be spilling out milk. It will go into a garden that is like a meadow & has farm animals in it. Here angels collect eggs from chicken, wool from sheep, and milk from cows. Each cow will give off different tasting milk but the milk from the river will taste the best. All the animals here are in perfect health and can provide there produce without fail anytime you wish. Here angels live in a glorified farm homes. Unlike the other gardens angels here will all be living together.

Indigo Dragon- It will be spilling out cider. It will flow into a garden that looks like an enchanted wood. Here woodland creatures greet you and mysticism is all around you. This garden is a good place for a nature walk and wonders discoveries. Angles that take care of this garden will be living in flowery homes that float in the water of lakes and ponds.

Violet Dragon- It will be spilling out chocolate. It will lead people to a garden that is a child wonderland. Here toys and candy grow on trees and bushes. You can eat as much are you wish without getting sick or cavities. There with be a lot of fantasy like creatures hear such as unicorns, fairies, centaurs, & anything else you can imagine. There will be cotton candy cloud and skittle flavored rainbows for kids to play and eat. There will be a lot of laughter and a lot of fun and games in this garden. There will also be an angel that comes around with a choo-choo train that kids can ride on and see the rest of the garden. Angels here live in candy like homes (no kids aren’t allowed to eat them lol).

On top of my tower is the most beautiful garden of all. There is also a fountain with a bunch of pretty stones, made up of colorful jewels and rare metals. If you take one of the rocks and throw it into the fountain whatever you wish will come true.

The Rooms
Inside my mansion there will be hundreds of rooms each decorated into a different theme. There will be at least one angel guarding and maintaining each room. Obviously I cant describe each room to you but here are a few.

The Jade Room- Obviously this room is made out of jade. The room will be changing colors from white too dark green and back. This room is just for decoration and were I put all my jade artifacts in.

The Check-Mix Room- this will be a small room. I deeply love check-mix so in this room there will be one table with a bowl full of check-mix and I can just sit there and eat it without being disturbed. The bowl will never run out FYI.

The Library- It will be a huge room full of books that are of five star quality. If I ever finish reading all of them I will have my own team of angelic scholars write me new books to read. The most important
The most important book in the whole library will be the book that has record of every good deed I have ever done while here on earth. It will be like a pearly jewel and it will sit on an alter were I can go and read it any time I wish to reminded myself of all the good work I did for Christ.
My Throne Room- The bible tells us we will be like kings and queens in heaven so it would only be natural for us to have a throne room. Also it would only be natural for use to be ruling over something so in my throne room I will have a glass floor that is a portal to my very own universe were I am like a royal emperor amongst my people and I reflect the love of Jesus to them.

The Outside Courts
Outside my home I can hear angels singing and heavenly lights every where I look. There isn’t a flaw in site and unimaginable beauty surrounds me. We’ll everyone is a skeptic about Santa but…
It gets kinda weird when you research it

Like For instance, this video was taken by a group of explorers in the North Pole, and for some reason the governmentt was holding but was finally released and a group of researchers that go by Stalking Santa and also by T.E.R.D (I know, funny name get over it, it stands for Tangible Evidence. Real Discoveries) got there hands on it and have been trying to find him ever since.

And now in this video it shows why the government would want want to cover up Santa’s exsistance if there is one. The person wearing the hidden camera is Dr. LLyod Darrow and this is a scene taken from his documentry ( they often re enact things to make it look better if you think it was just made up)

There is also other proof he has found like ancient picture from egypt that date back extremely far that show pictures drawn on walls of Santa and Santa flying in a sleigh with 8 reindeer

There is also one last piece of evidence that get weirder…
IN Rockwell New Mexico there was a report of something falling from the sky government officials where automatically sent in to investigate and tried to pass it of as a plane crash but on man went in after and found something they had missed, it was a burnt jingle bell he showed it his family but in less than hour a government official came in conviscated it. He told the family, more rather threatened tha family, that it wa a part to a weather ballon but was really obviously a jingle bell.

Wow I apparently lose my grammatical skills when I’m hopped up on cold medicine…

I once saw a documentary on some channel, can’t remember whether it was the Discovery or Science channel but, it was about Anti-gravitational technology. I saw a device there that they showed somewhat like an aluminum box or something like it, an anti-gravitational toy that can actually be purchased somewhere. The scientists there assembled this thing and hooked it up to a power source and this thing raised up a few inches off the table, like a UFO…doesn’t have any moving parts or anything that propels it upwards…it does have a very thin wire connected at a corner of it that attaches to the power source though. I was amazed by this thing and I’m wondering whether some of you know of what I’m talking about….I didn’t bother to get any info from the documentary itself after it ended as to where I could’ve purchase this particular device from but, I know is outhere for sale because, I saw the box from where these scientists pulled these pieces out and assembled them right there.

my favorite alcohol is vodka i like marijuana.
