Do people actually make decent money from working as HERBALIFE distributors?
My mother has gotten into the business working as an Herbalife distributor. She works from home and is always optimistic about it. However, shes been in the program for over five months now and hasn't really made anything. I fear that she has fallen into a scam.
Have you or anyone you know made money off of being a distributor for Herbalife? Please answer only if you have experience with this. Im really concerned that my Mom is being ripped off..

they work the same way like AMWAY
But the pool of customer have to be coming fm your own end …and right before that u need to buy mini s$ 200 for the products that you wish to market —then u will be listed into
an agent group….
I know of the Singapore ioffice s working as a whole sales —which all goods will be store here and once u get your order done u can buy fm them and you will do your own delivery
If your are only an agent your commission is 25% and if your a supervisor ( if u buy in s$4000 of good) u get 50% off as discount or commission
i am considering such way of selling —bec if u wish to have a stable income u need to have many "down line" and although its is a borderless selling —but u need to make a very nice web site for selling them to like Vn and phillippine etc…..
However, your mum could buy the products and taste its or test its to seek its is working ok for her …
any way if she has done with a small investment …no harm give its a try …
If by decent you mean legitimate, then my answer is yes BUT if you mean 'a living wage'…..Nah! Not worth it!

Your mother is in a legitimate business. Like any business, there is never a guarantee of success.
She needs to constantly examine and change what isn't working. Also the amount of money she is spending on her marketing campaigns will dictate how soon she goes into profit.
Let her do her "thing". She will either become successful, or get tired of the business and quit.
I've been there, done that. Have her send me an email and I'll be glad to refer her to free and paid marketing resources.

Herbal life is a legitimate company.I even bought some of their shares on the stock market. I am not a distributor though.
As in any mlm business, if your mum's upline cannot help her to increase sales, your mum can talk to the next upline and so on to seek help.
Each mlm company has its unique way or culture of doing business but in general if your mum is in it for a few months and sher works consistentlyl daily for a few hours, she should have make some progress.
She won't be successful doing what the company tells her (stay in your warm market, go to meetings, motivate yourself, etc.). This is why 95% of all network marketers fail. I've been there and done that. She needs a marketing plan.
