How green is Melaleuca?
I’m looking into being a customer with Melaleuca, but can’t seem to find any information about it. I am determined to find non-toxic cleaning products for my family as well as other items such as cosmetics, vitamins, etc. Melaleuca seems to have all the items I want, but how green are they? I’m looking for unbiased answers and please provide sources as well.

I am so glad you asked this question! Melaleuca is owned by Frank VanderSloot. It is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
There is a wind turbine farm in the foothills of Idaho Falls. It is the Wolverine Creek Wind Farm, owned by Vestas.
Frank VanderSloot spent hundreds of thousands of dollars ILLEGALLY fighting against the construction of more wind turbines. He was trying to influence the vote of officials, AFTER the time period for public opinion.
Frank VanderSloot tried to force/influence his employees to oppose the wind farm.
The Wolverine Creek Wind Farm has provided habitat for thousands of different wildlife animals. I personally had seen moose up there on five different occasions. The wind farm is an absolutely thriving wildlife habitat, which stopped the urban sprawl of Idaho Falls dead in it’s tracks.
Frank VanderSloot spread actual lies about the wind turbines. The worst thing Frank VanderSloot did though, was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to try in influence the voting ILLEGALLY.
Wayne Brower, (County Commissioner): “What was written in the paper by Mr. VanderSloot and his wife, he really did invite the public illegally to make comment after a public hearing was closed.”
Melaleuca is NOT a green company, nor even an ethical one. Frank VanderSloot owns a ranch near the wind farm. The only reason he spent the money opposing the wind turbine farm is he has a huge case of NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard).
My husband use to work for the Wolverine Creek Wind Farm, as a Tech on the wind turbines (we personally believe in alternative energy).
So now you know exactly what kind of person is President of Melaleuca (an extremely unethical one). He’s one of the richest people in all of Idaho. He’s also one of the major employers in a state which has extremely high unemployment even when the economy is good. Frank VanderSloot has a dictator like hold over his employees.
