Your communication skills through spoken and written language, math skills and group skills are important in order to land a good job. Many companies are using group work. Take courses in you Liberal Studies program that relate to the job market your interested in doing after graduation along with electives that interest you. This process will facilitate a well rounded education. Find a mentor in your college to help you. In my case I had a dean who impacted my decisions.

From what I learned in college, it wasn’t about the classes. It was about learning to live on your own, getting up on time for classes, budgeting enough money to go out drinking on the weekends, learning to get along with your roommates, and growing a strong work ethic that will follow you throughout your life. Yes, your classes are important if you are going into a certain field, but for the most part, college is about a lot more than your subject. It’s about becoming an adult.

yea life learning is important in college, but as far as getting a certain job what classes you take is not that important. im not sure if thats what your concerned about because money doesnt mean you were succesful in life. any what liberal arts majors have some of the lows salaries of all majors. if you are talking about finding a high payig job then maybe you could switch your major or double major in something like bussiness or accounting. if you are really god at math engineers make some of the highest starting salaries arounnd. also you can just keep your grades high and take whatever and get into a good law school.

It depends on how you define success in life. In my life, success is great family relations which is made easier by financial stability. College classes that may help reach the financial stability are business and real estate. Financial stability does not relate to how much money you make, but how you handle the money you have. Start early by investing in your future, know what it takes to buy a home, invest in stocks and bonds (it doesn’t take a lot of money), and fund your retirement account as soon as you start working.
